I am an artist living in the Pacific Northwest passionate about conservation, wildlife, and the natural world. These subjects are a confluence of my past experiences, my future aspirations, and all that I find genuinely inspirational. After years working with various conservation efforts, ultimately completing a degree in veterinary medicine, I have found a calling representing these animals and the natural spaces in which they inhabit through the medium of painting.
After studying painting for many years, including an atelier position with Seattle artist Kimberly Trowbridge, I have refocused my creative efforts, and returned to subjects I know and care for deeply. I hope to present these unique animals to the public as I see them myself, and in doing so, raise awareness about the challenges many of them are facing. My goal is to share their story and beauty with the world.
Additionally, I enjoy painting plein air and studio landscapes, figure and Flamenco studies, as well as some imaginative and narrative works.
